Unlike similar products, Robur’s high tensile shackles are made entirely from hardened and tempered chrome molybdenum alloy steel, and designed to exceed 20,000 full-load cycles in laboratory tests. Therefore, they stand out in their category, as the best option for heavy-duty jobs, with a safety factor exceeding requirements under reference standards (6:1 instead of 5:1) and excellent resilience at low temperatures. Robur’s mild steel shackles are synonymous with reliability and effectiveness in time, based on top quality raw material, exquisite mechanical workmanship and heat treatment (normalizing), which allow a high work load and safety factor to be reached compared to those of similar commercially available products. Clear, indelible marking on each piece makes it possible to identify the origin of the shackle, e.g. in case of inspections by auditing companies or competent bodies.
